OUR HEAD INSTRUCTOR ASH MCCARTHY
Ash McCarthy began his journey with us at Pro Jiu Jitsu as a white belt and has been a dedicated and valued member of the team ever since. Through years of consistent training and commitment, he has developed a deep understanding of the art, with a particular passion for modern jiu jitsu and its evolving techniques.
Now a black belt, Ash brings a sharp technical mind and a thoughtful approach to the mats. As an instructor, he has a natural ability to break down complex positions and make them accessible to students of all levels. His calm, patient teaching style creates a positive learning environment where students can grow with confidence.
Ash continues to push his own development while contributing to the strong culture of the academy. We’re proud to have him as part of the team, both as a highly skilled practitioner and a respected instructor.

ONE PRIVATE LESSON (60 minute): £50
BLOCK OF TEN LESSONS: £400

Please Note:

You should communicate any schedule changes or cancellations of the private lesson to the instructor/coach ahead of time.

Failure to do so may result in a loss of the private lesson. All private sessions with instructors must take place within 2 months of the payment being received by Pro Jiu Jitsu unless other arrangements are made with the instructors at the time of payment.

Any private sessions not taken within the 2 months from payment will be forfeited with no refund.

No extension of the 2 month window is permitted unless due to medical issues which prevent the student from training which will require proof in the form of a doctors fit note covering the period.

If you would like to share your private lesson time with your friend and split the cost between you two. Please note that there will be an additional 30% charge to the total cost of the private lesson.
